Edward Webb
Violin
Edward is a versatile freelance orchestral and chamber violinist, with over ten years of professional
experience. He performs regularly with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and
Brandenburg Sinfonia. Recently he performed reduced versions of Billy Budd and La Traviata at the
Royal Opera House in an ensemble of four instruments. He has also played as principal second violin
for the Jersey Chamber Orchestra, and led string quartets there in educational outreach programmes
for four years. His teaching work includes Cranleigh School and Epsom College, as well as private
pupils.
