support

The Musician's Answering Service is committed to supporting you throughout your career.  If you are interested in finding out more about MAS and the services we offer, you are welcome to arrange a meeting at our offices in Dorking, Surrey.  We offer one to one guidance on:

CV Production – The principles of a good orchestral marketing CV; layout, content and structure.

Marketing – The importance of marketing yourself as a freelance orchestral player and the principles of doing this successfully.  How to maximise your opportunities via existing contacts to develop your career; how to make new contacts, and who to approach for freelance work and how to go about it.

Covering letters – The importance of a good covering letter in creating the right first impression, how to present yourself and what information to include

Job Applications – How to give yourself the best chance of getting an audition

Consultation lessons – Who to approach for support in the early stages of your career.

As well as how to get the most out of the diary service and any other aspects of your career development

This is a free, no obligation service open to all players - you will not be pressured into joining MAS at this time or in the future.  If after further discussion you feel that the diary service is not appropriate at this stage of your career, we can advise you on how best to proceed

After the meeting you are welcome to forward drafts of new CV’s, covering letters and applications for further advice and feedback.

This service is also open to all our existing clients at any time.
