Biography
Dorina Markoff-McNulty is one of the most prominent British/Bulgarian violinists with a well-established international career which spreads through all genres and professional aspects of music. She an active solo performer, orchestral leader, participant in various chamber music groups as well as an experienced studio musician.
She has collaborated with some of the most distinguished classical performers and conductors amongst which Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perman, Msistlav Rostropovich, Boris Belkin, Yuri Beshmet, Svetlana Bezrodnaja, Gian Luigi Gelmetti, Claudio Abbado amongst many others.
Dorina graduated in University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in the studio of Mark Kaplan and was mentored by Dorothy Delay in Juilliard School who awarded her a full scholarship for music festival in Aspen, Colorado.
She is a recipient of many awards amongst which The Getty Award, The Robert Bern-stein Award, Mimi Alpert Feldman Award and many others.
She has led the orchestra and features as a solo violinist on many famous film scores.
