The Slate Quartet

The Slate Quartet – Bella Todes, Jenny Clare, Carys Barnes and Oona Lowther

The Slate Quartet is a versatile String Quartet based in London. Their Debut EP was released in 2025 on Luminate Records of Brett Dean’s String Quartet No 1 ‘Eclipse’. In 2025, they also debuted at King’s Place as part of EMPOWER – festival of female composers. They have performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Petworth Festival and Leicester Cathedral and played for audiences in the South of France as part of their residency at the Ferrandou Atelier in 2024. They attended the inaugural year of the Oxford Chamber Music Festival where they received coaching from Quatuor Ebéne and recently took part in the Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival.
