Duo Emrys

Duo Emrys celebrates the versatility and soloistic brilliance of the flute and harp. Committed to both discovery and tradition, they curate music that expands beyond the standard flute and harp canon, showcasing lesser-known works that enrich the flute and harp repertoire. As Welsh musicians, they champion music from their homeland, performing music by Welsh composers and arranging their own compositions of traditional folk music.

Aisha Palmer and Isabelle Harris met in 2014 at their local youth orchestra in South Wales. Aisha went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music achieving a Distinction and DipRAM in Master of Arts. She was an inaugural LSO Conservatoire Scholar and is a Young Artist at the London Transport Museum. Isabelle graduated with a Distinction in Orchestral Artistry from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She won the first and audience prize at the 2025 London Young Welsh Instrumentalist competition, and the Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize during her undergraduate at RWCMD.

Independently they have extensive experience performing at renowned venues internationally, including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Hall and Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra and English National Opera
