Brief summary of teaching qualifications/experience:

I have a lot of experience as a private trumpet tutor. This has included taking students to Grade VIII Distinction and preparing students to successfully audition into the National Youth Children’s Orchestra. I have also worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra FUNharmonics and Royal College of Music ‘Sparks’ workshops.

I am the Trumpet Teacher at the Royal Grammar School Guildford, Chepstow House School, Pembridge Hall School, Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School Music Academy & Wandsworth Music Service Saturday Academy.

I have been a tutor for Wandsworth Music Service for the past four years. This includes having my own whole class wider opportunities groups. I have had several classes that I work with each term and each class comprises of around 20-30 students whom each have a trumpet in hand. The typical age of these classes are Year 3 & Year 4, with also a few continuing groups into the later years. I am very experienced in delivering hour long classes and workshops to large groups of students of all ages.
