Alexander Technique

Alun is also a qualified teacher of the Alexander Technique (2002 STAT) and teaches regularly at the Bloomsbury Alexander Centre in central London. He has also taught at the Guildhall School of Music and gives regular workshops for musicians and singers, specialising in string playing and the Alexander Technique. He has also designed an adjustable chin rest for violinists that sold to a number of professional colleagues. He has written a number of articles and given presentations about the technique including a workshop for Alexander teachers on ‘musicians’ preparation’, at the 2004 Oxford International Congress for Alexander teachers. Alun is available for violin / Alexander lessons and general music workshops.
