Sisters Francina and Margalida Moll Salord, violinist and pianist respectively, formed the Oblivion Duo shortly after graduating from Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music in 2014. Since then, they have performed at a wide range of venues both in the UK and abroad. Having been classically trained, they also enjoy playing other genres such as Tango and Film music. Such interest in other professional possibilities makes the Oblivion Duo very popular for a variety of events, which range from private parties to recording sessions.
Mainly in London, sisters Moll Salord have performed at St. Mary Abbots Church, the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, St Stephen's Church, St Mary Abbots Church as well as within the Talent Unlimited Concert Series. Outside the United Kingdom, the Oblivion Duo has offered recitals at the Madrid Ateneo, Solé Luthiers Hall in Barcelona, Musitekton Series in Barcelona and at the Summer Music Festival of Ciutadella de Menorca.
Francina and Margalida have been awarded by the Abbado European Young Musician’s Trust, EMI Music Foundation, RCM Instrument Scheme, FIDAH Music Foundation , Talent Unlimited, Kathleen Trust, Kenneth Loveland Gift, AIE and the Royal College of Music´s Pauline Hartley Award.
