MAS Diary Co-Ordinator Vacancy

Thursday 18th July 2013

We are looking for a Diary Co-Ordinator for a 12 month contract to help manage the diaries of over 1000 freelance classical musicians.

Working as part of a small team, the majority of each day is spent taking calls from orchestras and session contractors wishing to book players for their work. It is each co-ordinator's job to make informed decisions as to whether the work offered is viable. Every co-ordinator is also responsible for individual projects, such as updating our website and producing quarterly CV brochures and newsletters.

Applicants should have a strong interest in music and be looking for a start in Arts Administration.  Past members of our team have gone on to work for the Royal Opera House, London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, English National Opera, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Proms and session companies. Others have gone into careers with London conservatoires, musical charities, top London venues and artist management companies.

Applicants should also have the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure and be happy to work on a shift basis. Previous experience in customer services would be a plus.
