Gabriella Nikula

Violin

PROFILE

Born in Jakobstad, Finland, Gabriella is a classically trained violinist with a BMus from the Swedish Polytechnic in Jakobstad and a MMus from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden from where she graduated in December 2006. Gabriella also holds a Secondary Music PGCE from the Institute of Education, University of London. Gabriella has worked extensively as a chamber and orchestral musician in Scandinavia and Europe. Besides classical violin, Gabriella also plays folk music and regularly performs at the Kaustinen International Folk Music Festival. Gabriella is also very actively involved in teaching and coaching both classical and folk music and has devised and delivered education projects in private and state schools.
